Pune: Woman Raped After Giving Ayurvedic Pills Laced With Sedatives To Conceive

Bhosari, 19th July 2022: Sedatives were given to a woman in the name of giving Ayurvedic pills to have a child. After she lost consciousness, she was sexually assaulted. The accused sexually assaulted her again by threatening to make her photos viral on social media which he clicked while having physical relations photos and making them viral.

This incident took place from February 10, 2021, to April 21, 2022, at Bhosari and Shirur.

A 25-year-old woman lodged a complaint at the Bhosari police station on Monday (July 18). Pimpri Chinchwad Police have registered a case against Raju Nanabhau Guldgad (50), a resident of Chakan.

According to the information given by the police, the complainant met the accused when she went to buy clothes at Chakan.

“The accused gave ayurvedic pills to the complainant and took Rs 90,000 from her. In February 2022, the accused came to the house of the complainant. He told the woman that he had brought pills so that she can conceive a child. He fed the pill to her and then he sexually assaulted the complainant when she lost her consciousness

The accused then took naked photos of the complainant. After she woke up, the accused showed the photos to her and threatened her that he will make the photos viral if she told anything about the incident to anyone. Thereafter, the complainant was taken to his home and a lodge in Shirur and got tortured from time to time, it is stated in the complaint.
