Pune: Woman Tortured With Ganja Smoke, Accused Ex-Boyfriend Booked
Kondhwa, 23rd March 2023: A horrific incident of torture and assault against a young woman has been reported in Pune. The Kondhwa police have registered a case against Shravan Rajendra Ankushe, a resident of Undri after the victim filed a complaint.
The victim was in a relationship with Shravan but suspected him of having an affair with another girl, which led to a dispute between them. The young woman eventually ended the relationship.
On a day when no one was home, Shravan entered the girl’s house. He beat and tied her up, then blew marijuana smoke into her nose and mouth. As a result, the young woman became suffocated and felt dizzy. Shravan continued to torture her by beating her. The victim has filed a case of rape against Shravan.
Assistant Police Inspector Torgal is investigating the case.
