Pune, January 17, 2021: Strictly following all the rules of the government in these times of Corona, the Women’s Senior National Wrestling Selection Trial held by the Maharashtra State Wrestling Council at the late Mamasaheb Mohol Wrestling Center (Katraj) today.
The winners were wrestler Swati Shinde (Kolhapur) and wrestler Bhagyashree Fund (Ahmednagar) who shall represent Maharashtra in Women’s National Wrestling Championship, informed Balasaheb Landge, General Secretary, Maharashtra State Wrestling Council.
The result of the Women’s Senior National Wrestling Selection Trial held by the Maharashtra State Wrestling Council at the late Mamasaheb Mohol Wrestling Center (Katraj) is as follows: –
50 kg – Swati Shinde (Kolhapur)
53 kg – Nandini Salokhe (Kolhapur)
55 kg – Disha Karande (Kolhapur)
57 kg – Vishranti Patil (Kolhapur)
62 kg – Bhagyashree Fund (Ahmednagar)
65 kg – Shrushti Bhosale (Kolhapur)
68 kg – Rituja Sankapal (Kolhapur)
72 kg – Pratiksha Bagdi (Sangli)
76 kg – Poornima Satpute (Kolhapur)
The selected team will represent Maharashtra in the 23rd Senior Women’s Freestyle National Wrestling Championship to be held from January 30 to 31 in Agra (Uttar Pradesh).
