Pune Yard Block: Pune–Nagpur Express Cancelled on June 14, Nagpur–Pune on June 13
Pune/Nagpur, 12th June 2026: Central Railway’s Pune Division will undertake a major engineering and signalling operation at Pune Yard on June 14, leading to the cancellation of the Nagpur–Pune Express pair and affecting train movements on certain platforms at Pune station.
A nine-hour traffic and power block will be imposed from 8 am to 5 pm on Sunday to facilitate the replacement of DDS Point No. 208/209 in the existing track layout at Pune Yard on the Pune–Daund section, railway officials said.
As a result of the block, train operations from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) end on Platforms 3 and 4 at Pune station will remain affected during the scheduled period.
The disruption has led to the cancellation of two train services. Train No. 12136 Nagpur–Pune Express, scheduled to commence its journey on June 13, has been cancelled. Train No. 12135 Pune–Nagpur Express, scheduled to depart on June 14, has also been cancelled.
According to railway officials, the work involves replacement of a critical point in the yard’s track and signalling system, a key component that facilitates the movement of trains between different tracks.
Passengers travelling on the affected routes have been advised to verify the latest status of their trains before commencing their journey.
