Pune: Young Girl Gang-Raped By Giving Sedatives; Case Registered Against Three
Pune, 14th October 2022: An incident has come to fore where a girl was gang-raped by spraying sedatives on her face. The Kondhwa Police has registered a case against three people. The names of those arrested are Rakesh Satish Adhav (32), a resident of Vimannagar, Mohammad Shahanwajuddin Sarfuddin, and Mohammad Sharifnawaj Sarfuddin, both residents of Aurangabad.
The victim has filed a complaint at the Kondhwa police station.
Last Sunday (October 9), the girl’s friend organised a party in her flat and she invited her friends Rakesh and Mohammad to the party in the evening. At around 3 pm, the victim went to another room to rest. The accused sprayed sedatives on her face and raped her.
Two hours later, the victim regained consciousness. Then it was revealed that the accused had raped her. After the victim lodged a complaint, a case was registered and the accused were arrested.
Senior Police Inspector Sardar Patil is investigating the case under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Namrata Patil.
