Pune: Young Man Blackmailed With Edited Videos, FIR Registered

Sangvi, 6th June 2022: An unidentified person blackmailed and demanded money from a youth. Later, he humiliated the youth for not being able to pay. The unidentified person defamed the young man by making edited pornographic videos using photographs and documents and sending them to his relatives.

A 26-year-old youth from Pimple Saudagar has lodged a complaint at Sangvi Police Station. Accordingly, a case has been registered against 12 suspected mobile number holders. The accused created a fake application. Based on the application, the accused claimed that he had sent Rs 3,850 to the complainant but later demanded Rs 7,000 from the complainant blackmailing him.

The accused humiliated the complainant when he refused to pay. The accused then wrote obscene texts in English on the complainant’s photos, made pornographic videos using PAN cards and identity cards and sent the video to the complainant’s sister’s mobile. He also threatened the complainant that he’ll send the explicit videos and pictures to other relatives. Sangvi police are investigating the incident further.
