Pune: Young Man Kidnapped On Suspicion Of Having Affair; Three Arrested For Assaulting Youth In Hostel
Pune, 20th September 2022: A young man was kidnapped from his house by four people due to the suspicion of a love affair. The accused beat up the youth in a hostel in the Ambegaon area. In this case, the Warje police have arrested three people including the main accused and detained a minor.
The names of those arrested are Shubham Vilas Pawar (27), resident of Lipane Vasti, Dattanagar, Katraj, Prathamesh Mahadev Yenpure (23), Yashraj Shivprasad Misal (18), both resident of Kachi Ali, Ravivar Peth.
A case has been filed regarding the same. On September 8, a young woman related to the accused Shubham Pawar went missing from her house. The young woman and the complainant knew each other and both of them were working at the same place.
Pawar suspected that the young woman who was in a relationship with the complainant had run away. Pawar and his accomplices Yenpure, and Misal abducted the complainant youth from his residence at midnight. He was kept in a hostel in the Jambhulwadi area and was beaten with a belt. The young man was seriously injured during the beating. After that, Pawar and his accomplices ran away.
The injured man went to the hospital. After receiving treatment at the hospital, he lodged a complaint with the police. Warje police then started an investigation. The police received information that the accused was staying in the Katraj area. A trap was set by the police and the three were caught.
Under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector D S Hake, Crime Branch Police Inspector Dattaram Bagve, Sub-Inspector Narendra Munde and Rameshwar Parve, Hanumant Masal, Amol Raut, Ajay Kamthe etc. took this action.
