Pune: Young Woman Murdered By Boyfriend Who Suspected Her Character Suspicion

Loni Kalbhor, 10th July 2022: Pune city police have succeeded in unravelling the murder case of a young woman whose body was found on the premises of Yashwant Sahakari Sugar Factory in the Theur area.

The investigation by Loni Kalbhor police station revealed that her boyfriend had killed her. The deceased was identified as Vaishali Ladappa Dudhwale, a native of Osmanabad district who resided in Bhima Koregaon.

Police have arrested her boyfriend Mahesh Pandit Chowgule (24) who also hails from Osmanabad and lives in Talegaon Dabhade. Chowgule was working at a hotel in Talegaon Dabhade. Vaishali was working as a caretaker.

According to the police, both are from the same village. They fell in love five months ago.

On July 5, she was found murdered. The young woman was not identified at the time. A technical investigation later revealed the girl’s identity. Police then contacted Vaishali’s family. Her mother was questioned. It was then revealed that Vaishali was having a relationship with accused Chowgule.

Accordingly, he was arrested. Interrogation revealed that he had killed Vaishali by throwing a stone at her head. He confessed that he had killed Vaishali out of suspicion of character, said senior police inspector Rajendra Mokashi, in-charge of Loni Kalbhor police station.

The investigation was carried out under the guidance of DCP (Zone 5) Namrata Patil and ACP Bajrang Desai. The team included PSI Amit Gore and his team members Rajesh Darade, Ganesh Bhapkar, Nikhil Pawar and Malhari Dhamdhere.
