Pune: 9 Trees Falling Incidents Reported Today, Nobody Injured – Fire Brigade
Pune, 10th July 2022: The fire brigade received calls regarding nine trees falling in various parts of Pune city today due to heavy rains. In all these cases, there were no injuries or deaths.
The incidents were reported in:
1) Dhanori, Siddharth Nagar
2) Aundh, Ambedkar Nagar
3) Bhavani Peth, Mira Hospital
4) Hadapsar, Vaibhav Talkies
5) Kothrud, Tejas Nagar
6) Somwar Peth, Sassoon Colony
7) Pashan, Abhimanshri Society
8) Ghorpade Peth, Inamke Mala
9) Dattawadi Kaman
Around 4 pm, two big trees fell from the roots in front of Abhimanshri Society Gate No. 30 and fell on two cars traveling from Pune to Mumbai. Both the cars were stuck under the tree. However, none of the passengers received any injury. The garden department and Pashan fire station officials rushed to the spot and removed the trees.
The fire brigade team included officer Shivaji Memane, firemen Balraj Sangam, Gajanan Balgare, Rohit Pushparaj and driver Yuvraj Jadhav.
