Pune: Young Woman Preparing For Competitive Exams Raped; Youth Arrested By Faraskhana Police
Pune, 7th November 2022: A case was registered against a young man for raping a young woman by luring her into marriage. The woman was preparing for a competitive examination. The Faraskhana police have arrested a young man in this case.
The name of the arrested person is Rupesh Rajabhau Whavale (35), a resident of Parli Vaijnath. A woman has filed a complaint at the Faraskhana police station in this regard.
The plaintiff had come to Pune to prepare for the competitive examination. She got to know the accused Rupesh at her study centre. He lured the young woman into marriage and raped her.
After the young woman asked about marriage, he refused and also beat the young woman. After the girl lodged a complaint with the police, a case was registered against Rupesh and he was arrested. Police sub-inspector Dhade is investigating the case further.
