Pune: Youth arrested for celebrating birthday on road in Yerwada

Pune, May 17, 2020: Lockdown 4.0 has been extended till 31st May. Despite raising awareness by the Police city police, some people are not obeying the norms of lockdown. A youth was found violating the rules of lockdown and celebrating his birthday in Yerwada on Saturday along with his three friends.
This incident took place around 6.50 pm on Saturday opposite IBM company near Golf Course Chowk. While patrolling a policeman saw them celebrating birthday by cutting cake on a Bullet motorcycle. An FIR was registered against Vishal Trimbak Ahire (28) and three others.
Police officials said that a Bullet and an Active have been confiscated from the accused persons. The process is on to nab other accused persons. Police have appealed people to stay at home and come out only for necessary work.
Assistant Police Inspector Balbhim Nanaware registered the case.
