Pune: Youth Celebrates Rakshabandhan By Tying Rakhi To COVID Warriors

Pune, 21st August 2021: Swapnil Vadageri (28), an entrepreneur from Pimpri Chinchwad, celebrated Rakshabandhan by tying rakhi to the COVID warriors – doctors and health workers, journalists, police and social workers.

While talking about his initiative, Swapnil, who runs Prakash Dairy, said, “When we are evolving with the society by working or running a business, we should make sure that we should thank the communities who let us work and evolve with freedom. The festival of Rakshabandhan is not just about the bonding of a brother and sister but is also an opportunity to thank our ‘Rakshaks’.”

He continued, “I am an entrepreneur, and I know the ravages caused due to COVID, but we cannot forget the sacrifice of frontline warriors who dedicated their life while fighting the virus.”
