Pune: Youth Congress Vice President Faces Legal Heat: Case Registered for Black Flag Display to Deputy Chief Minister’s Convoy

Pune, 11th November 2023: The Yerwada Police Station has registered a case against Muralidhar Siddharam Budharam, a 30-year-old vice president of the Vadgaon Sheri Assembly Constituency of Youth Congress. The case was filed in response to an incident where black flags were shown to the convoy of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Police constable Anirudh Jaybhaye complained to the Yerwada police station, detailing the events that transpired two days ago when Fadnavis was in Pune for an event. As the convoy was leaving the Yerwada area, Youth Congress official Budharam allegedly attempted to block the convoy and displayed black flags to the fleet.
