Pune: Youth Dies in Late-Night Accident After Bike Hits Divider
Yerwada, 5th December 2024: A tragic accident claimed the life of a 23-year-old youth after his two-wheeler collided with a divider on Commerzone IT Park Road in Yerwada. The incident occurred around 12:30 am on Monday, 2nd December.
The deceased, identified as Aditya Pramod Sawant, was a resident of Panchal Building, Alandi Road, Kalas. A complaint regarding the incident has been filed by Assistant Police Inspector Vishal Takle at the Yerwada Police Station.
According to the police, Aditya was reportedly speeding when he lost control of his bike, which hit the road divider. He sustained severe injuries in the crash.
Police personnel arrived at the scene upon receiving information about the accident, but Aditya succumbed to his injuries before receiving medical treatment. An investigation into the incident is underway.
