Pune Youth Drowns In Indrayani River Near Kamshet During Outing With Friends
Maval, 12th April 2023: In a tragic incident, a young man lost his life on Tuesday afternoon after he drowned in the Indrayani river near Kamshet village in Maval taluka of Pune district.
The incident took place when a group of five friends from Dapodi, out for a leisurely walk, decided to take a swim in the river. Sadly, one of them, identified as Harsh Laxman Adsule (17), drowned due to underestimating the depth of the water.
After getting information, the Kamshet Police Station staff, along with Wildlife Maval Protection Society, Shivdurg Mitra Lonavla, and Apada Mitra Maval, reached the spot to conduct a search operation. After searching for a long time, the body of the drowned youth was finally recovered from the water.
