Pune: Youth Killed In Road Rage In Vishrantwadi, Accused Arrested

Vishrantwadi, 8th July 2022: A youth was murdered after a dispute occurred as a two-wheeler passed by a cut. The incident happened at Vadravasti in Vishrantwadi. Police arrested four accused immediately on Thursday.

The names of the arrested persons are Balu Arjun Shinde (48), a resident of Vishrantwadi, Frances Swami alias Bhaiya Anthony Swami (20), Sarfaraz Salim Sheikh alias Golya (20, a resident of Dhanori, Akbar Shahabuddin Sheikh (22), a resident of Bhimnagar Vishrantwadi.

Tushar Jaywant Bhosale (24), a resident of Dattawadi, is the name of a deceased youth. Aditya Bhosale (22) had lodged a complaint at the Vishrantwadi police station in this regard.

According to the information given by the police, Tushar Bhosale and Bhaiya Swamy had earlier got into an argument over making a cut while driving a two-wheeler. For the same reason, Bhosle and Swami got into an argument around 5 pm on Wednesday (July 6).

At the time, they had threatened to kill each other. After that, Tushar Bhosale called his friends from Janata Vasahat and Vishrantwadi and started searching for Bhaiya Swami in Vadarvasti at Vishrantwadi. At that time, they broke into Balu Shinde’s house. They severely beat Shinde. Angered, Shinde and Sarfaraz, Akbar, who had gathered near his house, took the weapon and ran after Bhosle and his friends.

At that time, Shinde and his accomplices and Bhosle and his accomplices threw stones at each other. Shinde and his accomplices then grabbed Bhosle and stabbed him. Bhosle was seriously injured in the attack. He was later admitted to the hospital for treatment and was pronounced dead by doctors. The accused had run away after the incident.

Two squads of Vishrantwadi police were on the trail of the accused. Police arrested all the four accused from the Vadarwadi and Bhimnagar areas of Vishrantwadi.
