Pune: Youth Robbed By Thieves Who Pretended To Be Policemen

Pune, 16th August 2022: The incident took place on the Katraj-Kondhwa road where the thieves beat up a young man and took away his mobile set by pretending to be the police. The thieves snatched the youth’s mobile phone and ran away from their vehicle.

 

Sandeep Mhaske (22), a resident of Saswad, Taluka Purandar has filed a complaint in Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station in this regard. Sandeep had stopped at Ekta Chowk on Katraj-Kondhwa road. At that time, the thieves stopped him and started threatening him by asking where he is going.

 

The thieves pretended to be the police and snatched the mobile from Sandeep worth Rs ten thousand and beat him up. Frightened, Sandeep filed an FIR with the police. Reportedly, the thieves ran away from the incident and the police sub-inspector Dhame is investigating the matter further.
