Pune: Youth Stabbed In Yewalewadi Dies During Treatment, 3 Accused Arrested

Pune, 13th August 2021: A youth who was injured by a mob with a scythe in an old dispute died at Sassoon Hospital at 11 pm on Thursday. Three persons have been arrested by the Kondhwa police station under Pune city police in the case.

Kartik Jadhav (22), a resident of Kondhwa, is the name of the murdered youth. A case of murder has been registered at the Kondhwa police station.

According to Senior Police Inspector Sardar Patil, in-charge of Kondhwa police station, Jadhav had been earlier booked for the murder of a person. He had also an argument with some youths.

Jadhav had arrived in Yewalewadi area around 4.30 pm on Thursday. At that time, the mob attacked him with a scythe. He was critically injured in the incident and was rushed to Sassoon Hospital for treatment. He died Thursday night while undergoing treatment.
