Pune: Zomato Delivery Boy Robbed On Road Between Lohegaon And Kharadi Bypass

Lohegaon, 6th July 2021: A delivery boy of Zomato company was stabbed and robbed by three persons at Forest Park in the Lohegaon area on Saturday night.
Kamlesh Pandey (32), a resident of Wadgaon Shinde Road, Lohegaon, has lodged a complaint in this regard at the Vimantal (airport) Police Station under Pune city police.
According to police, the complainant Pandey works as a delivery boy for Zomato. The incident took place around 11.40 pm on July 3. Pandey was returning home after food delivery. Three robbers intercepted him near the Air Force wall along Forest Park Road and threatened him with a knife. They demanded money but when he resisted, the robbers stabbed him in the neck. They decamped with his bike worth Rs 20,000 towards Ahmednagar Road.
Based on the description given by Pandey, the police are investigating the case. Police sub-inspector Pratap Giri is conducting further investigation.
