Pune:194 COVID Patients Discharged, 102 New Cases Detected in PMC area
Pune, May 10, 2020: Today a record number of 194 Coronavirus patients got discharged from hospitals in Pune city after being cured. However, 102 new patients were also reported taking the total tally of patients to 2482. PMC Additional Commissioner Rubal Agarwal tweeted, “Delighted to share that today 194 covid19 patients cured and discharged. Crossed the important milestone of curing and discharging 1000 patients in PMC. Total 1020 cured.”
According to PMC, five patients died today taking the tally of deaths to 144. There are still 1318 active patients admitted in different hospitals including 92 critical patients. Out of five deaths, one 82-year-old man is from outside PMC. He was a prisoner at Yerwada central jail. Also, a 13 months old girl succumbed to the deadly virus today.
In Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area, today two new COVID patients were detected while 34 were discharged after being cured of Coronavirus. Out of total 169 patients, 107 have been cured while 58 are still undergoing treatment. Also, four patients have lost their lives.
