Punekar News Group Welcomes Tikam Shekhawat as Consulting Editor
Pune, 23rd January 2024: BIMSindia, the holding company of leading hyperlocal English news portal Punekar News, along with other esteemed media platforms such as Mumbaikar News, India Reporting, Sarkar Khabar, and Patna Press, has welcomed Tikam Shekhawat as Consulting Editor.
The announcement was made by Managing Editor Mubarak Ansari, who expressed pleasure in having Tikam Shekhawat onboard. Ansari highlighted Shekhawat’s decade-long experience with the Times of India group, emphasizing his valuable contribution to building robust teams and formulating editorial strategies for the Punekar News Group’s ambitious expansion plans. “With Shekhawat onboard, we will spearhead coverage of bureaucracy and political news on a bigger scale, in addition to a focus on the video format for our various platforms,” Ansari explained.

Shekhawat has also worked with the Fiat group and the Ministry of Defence. He is a well-known poet and has translated IPS Vishwas Nangre Patil’s book “Man Mein Hai Vishwas” from Marathi to Hindi.
