Punekars, drink boiled water! Appeals PMC
Pune, August 22, 2020: Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has appealed to the Punekars to drink water after boiling it thoroughly.
As all four dams in the Khadakwasla Dam cluster have filled upto over 90 percent of their capacity, water is being constantly discharged from the dam in Mutha river. However, at the same time, the water is quite murky.
PMC has maintained that the water is being treated like it always is, and is fit for drinking. However, as a precaution, it has been appealed that it will be better if people drink the water after filtering and boiling it.
