Vaishnavi Adkar wins the U-12 Singles Titles for Girls in the tournament
Pune, September 03: Vaishnavi Adkar from Pune won the U-12 Singles Titles for Girls in the HCL Tennis Junior Tours and Masters (CS7) which held in Chennai. The student of Abhinav English Medium School, Karve Road, Vaishnavi defeated Priyadarshini from Tamil Nadu 6-3,1-6,6-4 in the semi-finals. Later, in the finals, the seventh seed Vaishnavi defeated Kundana Shree of Tamil Nadu with 6-1,6-0.
Groomed under the training of Kedar Shah as her principal coach at Bounce Tennis Academy, Vaishnavi has won titles like CS3 winner at Chandigarh & Navi Mumbai, CS7 Runner up at Gurgaon, CS3 Runner up at Pune and semi-finalist at many AITA events and now she has added CS7 Girls U12 Singles Title in her kitty.
Kick-started on Saturday, August 27th, the tournament witnessed total 276 matches in the main draw and qualifying rounds. Hosting the matched of this tournament at The Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu Tennis Stadium, this tour has received over 400 entries across all categories.
Organised under the aegis of All India Tennis Association (AITA) and supported by the State Tennis Associations, HCL Tennis Junior Tour is a medium that will give young tennis enthusiasts a serious platform.
