PYC A team win ALL MAHARASHTRA INTER CLUB TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Pune, April 3, 2023 : PYC A team scored a 2613 win against Khar Legends to Win the Sixth edition of All Maharashtra Inter Club Tennis Tournament and played at the Ravine Hotel, Panchgani in Satara.

PYC A who had lost to Khar Legends in the league stage made a comeback to take the sixth title in a row.

Jayant Kadhe and Himanshu Gosavi were a tough fight before overcoming Bhushan Akut and Gaurav Kapadia 8-7(7-2) In the 100 Plus: Kedar Shah and Prashant Gosavi were too strong for Lavin Khemani and Gautam Chande winning 8-1; In the 90 Plus event Anup Minda and Yogesh Pantsachiv registered a 8-3 win over Vardhan Shah and Amit Tambe , in the inconsequential tie in Open Group Ketan Dhumal and Abhishek Tamhane were tied 2-2 against Imran Yusuf and Aman Kohli Before the tie was called off as the results was got in the 3 events

In the match for the third and the fourth place Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) scored a 24-14 win over PYC B team to claim the third spot

The winner got a trophy and Rs.1.25Lakhs. While the Runners up got a trophy and Rs.75000 , the third place team received ₹25000 . Dr Abhay Jamenis of PYC B was adjudged best senior player of the event.

The prizes were given away at the hands of MSLTA Life President Sharad Kannamwar, President Bharat Oza , MSLTA Chairman Prashant Sutar , Hon Sec Sunder Iyer Treasurer Sudhir Bhiwapurkar, Vice Chairman Rajeev Deshpande , Jt Secretary Rajiv Desai MSLTA VP Vishwas Lokare and. Mr Chandrakant Dalvi and Javed Sunesara of Hotel Ravine
