PYC Hindu Gymkhana in association with Doshi Engineers Announces Statewide Under-19 Cricket Selection Talent Hunt
Pune, 24th March 2026: One of country’s and city’s oldest cricket club PYC Hindu Gymkhana Club in association with Doshi Engineers is organizing an Under-19 Cricket Selection Talent Hunt for aspiring cricketers from across the state.
The trials are scheduled to take place on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th, 2026, at the PYC grounds.
Mr. Kumar Tamhane, President of PYC Hindu Gymkhana, Mr. Sarang Lagu, Joint Secretary of PYC Hindu Gymkhana and Mr. Amit Doshi, CMD of Doshi Engineers informed that, this initiative is designed to identify and nurture emerging cricket talent. Selected players will be given free coaching under former ranji player Niranjan Godbole, Indrajeet Kamtekar, Parag Shahane and Kaushik Aphale for one year at the PYC Cricket Academy and also, they will have the chance to be part of the PYC Gymkhana team at various cricket tournaments hosted in Pune throughout the year. They will also get free guidance from physio, trainer, dietician in the yearly coaching at the PYC Cricket Academy
Presently players between above 16 to under 19 years of age may apply for this selection trials.
