Pune: PYC Hindu Gymkhana wins 1st Punit Balan-Kedar Jadhav Under 19 Club Cricket Championship

Pune, December 21, 2022: PYC Gymkhana edged out Varroc Vengsarkar by 1 wicket to win the First Punit Balan-Kedar Jadhav Under 19 Club Cricket Championship. The Championship was organized by Punit Balan- Kedar Jadhav Cricket Academy and played at PYC cricket Grounds.

Batting First Varroc Vengsarkar scored 194 runs losing 9 wickets PYC Hindu Gymkhana’s 5th wicket partnership between Swaraj Chavan(60runs) and Swapnil Shinde (runs) of 112 runs in 136balls helped PYC Hindu Gymkhana to 198 runs

The winner got trophy and Rs.70,000, while runner up received trophy and Rs.30,000/-. The prizes were given away at the hands of International Cricket player Kedar Jadhav and Mr.Punit Balan, Businessman and a Social worker, Film Producer

Varroc Vengsarkar Cricket Academy: 194/9 in 48Overs(Omkar Rajput 62(73,5×4,1×6), Om Khatavkar not out 43(41,5×4), Tilak Jadhav 22, Ninad Chaudhari 14, Swaraj Chavan 4-33, Varun Chaudhary 2-21, Koosh Patil 1-27) lost to PYC Hindu Gymkhana: 198/9 in 47.5 Overs(Swaraj Chavan 60(67,4×4,8×6), Swapnil Shinde 48(78, 8×4), Archiesman Das not out 15, Arya Panse not out 13, Soham Jamale 4-26, Saksham Kadlag 2-44, Omkar Rajput 2-40); MOM – Swaraj Chavan. PYC won by 1wicket.
