Sanas, Agnihotri cause upsets at the Vijayendra Memorial Trophy Championship Series U-16 Tennis Tournament

December 21, 2022: Vishvajeet Sanas, Akanksha Agnihotri caused the upsets of the day to enter the semifinals in the boys and girls event at the Vijayendra Kulkarni Memorial Championship series Under 16 Tennis Tournament which is organized by Om Dalvi Memorial Trust Under the auspices of MSLTA and AITA and played at Maharashtra Police Tennis Gymkhana, Aundh.

In the boys event, eighth seeded Vishvajeet Sanas upset second seeded Omkar Shinde 7-5, 6-2, unseeded Akanksha Agnihotri upset third seeded Durga Birajdar 6-2, 6-4 to make to semifinal in the girls event.
