Rahul Gandhi’s Pune Campaign for Mahavikas Aghadi, May 3rd

Pune, 26th April 2024: The Lok Sabha season has commenced in Pune District, much like across the country. Every candidate is striving to promote themselves to secure victory in the elections. Big political leaders from various parts of the country are coming to Pune to campaign for their candidates. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on April 29th, Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Pune on May 3rd to campaign for Mahavikas Aghadi candidates, showcasing their strength.

 

 

Rahul Gandhi will hold a roadshow in Pune. Former Mayor Murlidhar Mohol from the BJP and Sitting MLA of Kasba Vidhan Sabha Constituency Ravindra Dhangekar from the Congress compete against each other in the Pune Lok Sabha elections. Vasant More, a veteran leader who left the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, will also compete in this election representing the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA). The BJP and Congress are deploying their higher and senior-level leaders to campaign in Pune.

 

On April 29th, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to hold a meeting at the Race Course in Pune, where he will campaign for Mohol. Meanwhile, activists from the Mahavikas Aghadi have been eagerly awaiting Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the city. State Congress Vice President Girish Joshi confirmed Gandhi’s visit on Thursday(25th April). Following a roadshow, Rahul Gandhi will address a gathering at the SSPMS ground in Shivajinagar in the evening. As a national-level leader, Gandhi’s visit is anticipated to draw a large crowd of supporters, prompting the Pune authorities to take proactive measures to ensure smooth planning and execution.
