Pune Hospital Solves Painful Cough Mystery in Elderly Patient

Pune, 26th April 2024: An 85-year-old man who is a farmer had developed chronic cough for the last three months and he had been to various hospitals. This was severely affecting his quality of life and he was unable to sleep at night. He was admitted to a local hospital for these symptoms and even spent lakh of rupees on treatment. But since doctors were unable to diagnose the root cause, he continued suffering with this intractable cough. On coming to DPU Super Specialty Hospital, the doctors suggested a CT scan of the lungs and the results of this scan revealed that there was a possibility of some foreign body in his lungs.
