Rail Traffic Disrupted in Bengaluru Division Due to Maintenance Work

Benguluru, 17th December 2023:

Several trains in the South Western Railway’s Bengaluru Division are set to be affected due to maintenance work scheduled on the 65A bogey bridge at the Sai P Nilayam – Basampalle station stretch (Railway Km 21/552-786). The maintenance work, including rock bolting, drainage, grouting, and other essential tasks, aimed at rehabilitating the online area, will be undertaken from December 8, 2023, to February 8, 2024, spanning a total of 63 days. This will impact train services on specific routes. Here are the details:

 

Train No. 11302 from Bengaluru to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai Express will not operate via the Penugonda – Nagasamudram – Dharmavaram route until February 8, 2024.

 

Train No. 16332 on Saturdays from Tirupati to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai Express will be diverted and will not stop at Bangarapet, Krishnarajapuram, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, and Anantapur stations on specific dates until February 3, 2024.

 

Train No. 11014 from Coimbatore to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will be diverted via various stations and will not stop at Dharmapuri, Hosur, Bengaluru Cantt, Bengaluru, Gauribidanur, Sai P Nilayam, Dharmavaram, and Anantapur stations until February 8, 2024.

 

Train No. 11301 from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai to Bengaluru Express will be rerouted and will not halt at Sai P Nilayam station due to changes in its usual route via Dharmavaram, Nagasamudram, and Penugonda until February 7, 2024.

 

Several other trains, including Train No. 16534, 16532, 16614, 19567, and more, will witness diversions or cancellations on specific days and will not stop at designated stations.
