Railway Week Exhibition 2018

Shri Ashwani Lohani, Chairman, Railway Board visited the Central Railway Stall at the Railway Week Exhibition 2018 organised at Bhopal Haat, on 15.4.2018. Smt Arnunima Lohani, President, Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation, Shri Ranjanesh Sahay Secretary Railway Board and others were also present on the occasion. Shri D.K. Sharma, General Manager, Central Railway explained the details about the stall. Earlier, the guests were welcomed with “Aheer” Dance of Bundelkhand traditionally by the artists of Central Railway Cultural Academy. The stall of Central Railway had a footfall of more than 8000 on the first day when the exhibition opened for public. All zonal railways and production units have stalls through which information about railways achievements and development are displayed through display boards info walls and other materials. Sunil Udasi, CPRO, Central Railway informed that “Central Railway has displayed information about the landmarks of railways from 1853 to 2018, double diamond crossing of Nagpur Division, Sandhurst Road Elevated Railway station, famous trains, Women Achievers of Central Railway, CSMT Heritage building, scale model of CSMT building which is the main attraction as visitors take selfie with the building”. The exhibition is open for public on 16.4.2018 and 17.4.2018 also and entry is free.
