Rainfall In Pune Predicted Till 12th July, Ghat Areas To Receive Heavy Rain

Pune, 6th July 2023: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast predicting heavy rain in Pune and Ghat areas over the next 48 hours. Furthermore, the IMD anticipates intensified rainfall in Satara, Kolhapur, Buldhana, Washim, Yavatmal, Nashik, Palghar, Thane, Wardha, Nagpur, and Gondia within the next three to four days.

As per the weather forecast, Maharashtra is expected to experience significant rainfall in the coming days. A red alert has been issued, warning of heavy to extremely heavy rain in certain parts of Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra. Additionally, an orange alert has been issued for Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts. Konkan region has already witnessed substantial rainfall in recent days, prompting authorities to consider planning their activities based on the forecast.

8th July – Generally cloudy sky / Overcast, light to moderate rain likely (heavy to isolated very heavy rain in ghat areas).

9th July – Generally cloudy sky, light rain likely (isolated heavy rain in ghat areas).

10th July – Partly cloudy sky becoming generally cloudy sky towards afternoon/evening, light rain likely (isolated heavy rain in ghat areas).

11th July – Partly cloudy sky becoming generally cloudy sky towards afternoon/evening, light rain likely (isolated heavy rain in ghat areas).

12th July – Partly cloudy sky becoming generally cloudy sky towards afternoon/evening, light rain likely (isolated heavy rain in ghat areas).
