Pune: Sachindra Pratap Singh Appointed CMD Of PMPML, Bakoria Transferred To Social Welfare Department

Pune, 6th July 2023: Sachindra Pratap Singh (IAS) has taken charge as the Chairman and Managing Director of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML), replacing Om Prakash Bakoria.

Bakoria, who previously held the position of PMPML Chairman and Managing Director, has been posted as the Pune Social Welfare Commissioner. As a result, Sachindra Pratap Singh has been named as the new CMD of PMPML.

Bakoria had assumed the role of Chairman and Managing Director of PMPML in October 2022. However, within a year, he has been transferred to a different post.

Alongside Bakoria, four other individuals have also been subject to transfers.

The details of the transfers are as follows:

1. Sachindra Pratap Singh, IAS (IAS) (2007) has been posted as Chairman and Managing Director, PMPML, Pune.

2. Om Prakash Bakoria (IAS) (2006) Chairman and Managing Director, PMPML, Pune has been posted as Commissioner Social Welfare, Pune.

3. Dr Prashant Narnaware, (IAS) (2009) Commissioner, Social Welfare, Pune has been posted as Commissioner, Women and Child, Pune.

4. Vimala R., (IAS) (2009) Commissioner, Women and Child, Pune has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, M.S.Khadi Villege Industries Board, Mumbai.
