Raj Thackeray Begins Pune Tour From Today, Will Stay Here For 4 Days

Pune, 17th May 2022: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray has left for his Pune visit. He will be staying in Pune for the next four days.

 

He will interact with MNS office bearers in Pune city and will discuss about the upcoming municipal elections in Pune. Thackeray is scheduled to hold a public meeting in Pune during his stay and no decision has been taken yet on where to hold it.

 

In the municipal elections held immediately after the establishment of MNS, the party had got huge success in Pune. At that time, 28 MNS corporators were elected. However, in the subsequent elections, the number dropped to two. “The MNS has decided to start planning from now on to rectify the situation and is working on how to re-establish its dominance in the politics of the second largest city in the state,” informed party functionaries.
