5 Arrested For Leaking Rajsthan Police Constable Recruitment Exam Paper
Jaipur, 17th May 2022: A paper for the constable recruitment exam in Rajasthan has been canceled after it was ‘leaked’. Police has arrested 5 people in the paper leak case. This information was given by Police Headquarters on Tuesday.
Officials said that due to the leak of this question paper, the second shift examination related to constable recruitment will now be conducted again.
According to the information, during the second shift examination on May 14, under the Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment Examination, the question paper was opened prematurely by the Center Superintendent of Diwakar Public School, Jaipur. For this reason this question paper has been considered as leaked.
On May 14, about three and a half lakh candidates had given the exam in the second shift, but now this exam will be held again. Meanwhile, officials said that action is being taken against the center superintendent of Diwakar Public School as per rules.
18,23,343 applications were received for 4,588 constable posts and 59,820 for 141 chief constable and constable posts in Home Defense Department. Out of these 61.25 percent i.e. 11,53,523 candidates appeared in these examinations. Earlier on Monday, the Bharatpur District Police had arrested five people for allegedly promising to provide the constable recruitment exam question paper before the exam.
