Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ Roars At The Box Office: Crosses Rs 250 Crore Mark Worldwide In Just 4 Days

Mumbai, 13th August 2023: Jailer Box Office Collection on Day 4: Rajinikanth once again showcased his stature as one of the most prominent superstars of our time. In Nelson Dilipkumar’s film “Jailer,” Rajinikanth not only delivered an impressive performance but also dominated the box office scene. Reports indicate that within just four days, “Jailer” has secured a position in the coveted Rs 250 crore club worldwide.

 

As per preliminary estimates by Sacnilk.com, “Jailer” garnered a net of Rs 33.25 crore on its fourth day in India. This pushes the total Indian box office collection of “Jailer” to an approximate sum of Rs 141.1 crore. The global collection for the film has reportedly crossed the Rs 250 crore milestone, although the precise breakdown is yet to be disclosed.

 

Renowned trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared that the movie has garnered notable success in the US. He tweeted, “On Saturday, #Jailer amassed $830K in the USA,” taking the total US box office earnings of “Jailer” to $3.17 million.

 

“Jailer” has shattered numerous records since its release. On its first day, the Rajinikanth starrer achieved the titles of ‘Biggest Opening in Tamil Nadu in 2023,’ ‘Biggest Indian Premiere of 2023 in the USA,’ and ‘Biggest Tamil Opener of Overseas in 2023,’ among others.

 

The film marks Rajinikanth’s return to the silver screen after a two-year hiatus since his last appearance in “Annaatthe.” The ensemble cast of “Jailer” features Ramya Krishnan, Jackie Shroff, Vasant Ravi, Yogi Babu, and Reding Kingsley.
