Ray of Joy Foundation Donates BiPAP Ventilation Machine to Pune Municipal Corporation
Pune, August 29, 2020: City-based NGO Ray of Joy Foundation has donated BiPAP ventilation machine to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). As the number of Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients rising, there is a need for such machines which are helpful in the treatment of serious patients.
“We wanted to contribute towards the health care system during this crisis of Coronavirus disease (COVID19). We collected funds from people who would like to contribute towards this cause. With the help of the money collected, we bought the machine”, informed Shon Shitole from Ray of Joy Foundation.
The ventilator was handed over to Additional Municipal Commissioner Rubal Agarwal in presence of chief health officer Dr Ramachandra Hankare and ex-deputy mayor Dr Siddhartha Dhende on August 26.
