RBI Cancels Registration for Three Financial Companies, Check Details

Mumbai, 10th February 2024: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has taken decisive action by revoking the Certificate of Registration for three Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs). The affected companies are Bharathu Investment & Finance India Limited, Cox & Kings Financial Service Limited, and PSPR Enterprises Private Limited.

Following this regulatory action, these companies are prohibited from engaging in the activities of a Non-Banking Financial Institution, as defined by clause (a) of Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934. The RBI, exercising its authority under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, aims to ensure the integrity and stability of the financial sector by taking such measures when deemed necessary.
