Registration Starts Today, Know How And Where To Get Corona Vaccine From May 1

New Delhi, 28th April 2021: The third phase of vaccination is being started from May 1, increasing the scope of the war against Corona in India. From May 1, people between 18 and 45 years will get vaccinated.

People above 18 years of age will be able to get registered for vaccination from today i.e. from April 28 on the Cowin portal (cowin.gov.in ) or on the Arogya Setu App. At present, the vaccine is being given to more than 45 years of people in the country. From May 1, the vaccine will also be available in private hospitals in the country.

The vaccinations will be done from May 1 at government health centres as well as private hospitals.

The documented procedure for vaccination will remain the same as before. On registration, the confirmation will come on the registered mobile number, which will have to be checked.

Vaccine Shortage: Only These Vaccination Centres Functional Today, April 28

The vaccinations starting May 1 include government health centers as well as private hospitals. Currently, people 45 years or older are being vaccinated. Registration for vaccination of all people between the age of 18 to 44 years will begin today i.e. April 28 on the Covin portal and Arogya Setu App. The documented procedure for vaccination will remain the same as before.

To get Corona vaccinated, the youth will have to visit the Cowin app, Arogya Setu app, or Cowin’s website. There they will have to enter their mobile number. After that, account will be created through an OTP.

The Union Health Ministry said that more than one crore doses of the vaccine are still available with the states and union territories. Another 80 lakh doses will reach them in the next three days. The government has so far provided 15,65,26,140 doses of the vaccine to states and union territories.

The total consumption including wastage is 14,64,78,983 doses. More than one crore doses (1,00,47,157) are still available for delivery to states and union territories. Over 80 lakh (86,40,000) doses will reach the states and union territories in the next three days.
