With the objective of paying tribute to a legendary artist like Nilu Phule, the Nilu Phule Gratitude Award honors leading artists who have made significant contributions to the fields of theater and cinema. The award consists of a cash prize of ₹21,000, a ‘Gandhi Topi’ (Gandhi cap), an *Uparene* (traditional shoulder cloth), and a citation.

Previously, renowned actors Sachin Khedekar, Sumeet Raghavan, and Prasad Oak have been honored with this Nilu Phule Gratitude Award. Providing further details about the event, Samir Belvalkar, President of the Belvalkar Sanskrutik Manch, stated, “For the past three years, we have been organizing this awards initiative with the objective of paying tribute to a legendary artist like Nilu Phule, reviving memories of his legacy, and introducing him to the younger generation. This marks the fourth year of this award; in keeping with the tradition wherein the previous year’s honoree felicitates the current year’s recipient—a practice intended to be carried forward continuously this year, Amruta Subhash will be honored at the hands of Prasad Oak and actress Suhas Joshi.”
