Residency Club celebrates 24 glorious years by awarding the specially instituted Pune’s Pride Awards

Pune, December 5, 2015: Residency Club celebrated 24 glorious years through a unique initiative by honoring and awarding the specially instituted Pune’s Pride Awards, conferred upon those dedicated and committed individuals, who are recognized for their pioneering and versatile contribution in varied fields of activity, thereby making Pune proud of them. Spearheaded by Mr. R. K. Agrawal, Group Chairman Bramhacorp Ltd., the successful event witnessed awardees who are well-known personalities from various sectors ranging from sports, to art to charity and medicine.

Padmashree Lila Poonawalla of the Lila Poonawalla Foundation, introduced the Chief Guest of the event, Honorable Shri Krishna. N. Ganesh, Director, IISER Pune. He was chosen as the First Director of the newly founded Indian Institute of Science Education and Research at Pune In 2006. He has received innumerable professional awards, the important ones being SS Bhatnagar award of Chemical sciences (CSIR) and TWAS for Chemical Sciences. Mr. R. K. Agrawal, Group Chairman Bramhacorp Ltd. gave the welcome address at the ceremony and lit the lamp to kickstart the conference. Mr. Bahri Malhotra, Co – Chairman Advisory Board addressed the audience, following which there was a Felicitation of Advisory Board Members by Chief Guest, Honorable Shri Krishna N. Ganesh. Sewing machines were also presented to Widows of War Combatants by Colonel Sambhaji Patil.
