5th January 2024: In 2024, the biking enthusiasts in India are in for a treat as not only established companies like Hero and Yamaha but also several new Indian bike manufacturers are gearing up to introduce their models. The anticipation revolves around the upcoming bikes priced under 1.5 lakh rupees. These bikes are projected to offer a blend of advanced features like digital consoles, ABS, and other unique functionalities that are currently not present in existing bikes. This launch seems like a golden opportunity for buyers seeking high-end features within a reasonable budget.

The forthcoming year showcases a promising lineup of bikes set to hit the Indian market. Among the anticipated launches, Yamaha’s XSR125 stands out, epitomizing the brand’s legacy of performance-oriented machines. Yamaha is strategically targeting the budget segment with this bike, featuring a 124CC BS6 engine capable of producing 14.5 Nm torque. Specifically tailored for the Indian market, this bike is expected to deliver an impressive mileage of 47 kilometers per liter and is slated for launch in March 2024 at an estimated price of Rs. 1 lakh.

Another intriguing addition to the roster is the Eko Tejas E-Dyroth, poised to be India’s first electric bike resembling a Bullet. This electric vehicle boasts a remarkable range of up to 150 kilometers on a single charge, coupled with an impressive top speed of 100 km/h, despite being electric. The buzz surrounding its launch in March 2024 is fueled by its unique design and appealing features, projected to be priced at around Rs 1.30 Lakh.

Husqvarna Vitpilen 125 is set to make its debut, reminiscent of Rocky Bhai’s bike from KGF. This bike promises a distinct design and high performance, featuring a 124.7 cc engine, set to hit the market in March 2024 at a price of ₹ 1.35 Lakh. LML Moonshot, an electric bike tailored for budget-conscious consumers, is expected to offer average performance with a top speed of 70 kmph. Priced at Rs 1 Lakh, it secures the fourth position in Taazatime’s list of Top 5 Upcoming Bikes in India 2024 under 1.5 lakh.

In the midst of these exciting launches, Hero is gearing up to introduce the Hero Xtreme 200R, poised to outshine its counterparts in power. With a 199.6 cc engine, this bike is projected to be available at an expected price of Rs 1 lakh 35 thousand, making it a significant contender in the budget segment for 2024.
