RMCL reports phenomenal growth of 200% in sales for the first quarter

August 17, Pune – Radha Madhav Corporation Ltd (‘RMCL’- BSE Code -532692), one of the fast emerging consumer products company, has reported phenomenal results in their board meeting held on August 13, 2018. The company has indicated a strong turnaround in its fortunes, by shifting its focus to consumer products business from its erstwhile packaging business. All the more its packaging business has also been revived from the shambles, as during the quarter the management has indicated revival in the packaging segment also, indicating the good business to be generated from this segment in future.

Operating Highlights for the quarter:

Ø RMCL, reported strong sales growth of more than 200% at Rs. 135.4crore for first quarter ending 30th June 2018, as compared to Rs. 45.1crore reported in the same period previous year.

Ø EBIDTA for the quarter has jumped to Rs. 9.02crore, as compared to Rs.23lakh reported during the same period previous year.

Ø EBIDTA margins has gone up to 6.7% during the quarter as compared to 0.5% reported during the same quarter previous year.

Ø The company has reported write back of Rs. 71.52crore as an one time exceptional item on account of debt settlement with Bank of Baroda.

Ø The net profit for the quarter has been reported at Rs. 80.55crore during the quarter as compared to loss of Rs 24lakhs during same quarter previous year.

Ø The company has reported an EPS of Rs. 9.33per share for the quarter itself, as compared to Rs. 1.5per share reported for the fully year in FY18.
