Rohit Pawar To Undertake Foot March From Pune To Nagpur To Highlight Youth Issues
Pune 3rd Oct 2023: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and grandnephew of Sharad Pawar, Rohit Pawar has announced to undertake a foot march from Pune to Nagput to highlight various issues faced by youths in Maharashtra. Rohit made an official announcement at a press conference organised in Pune on Tuesday.
The Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Karjat Jamkhed constituency Rohit Pawar said that the foot march namely ‘Yuva Sangharsh Yatra’ will begin from Pune on October 24 and it will cover a distance of over 800 kilometers. The march will cross from a total of 13 different districts of Maharashtra. It aims to highlight various issues faced by youths in the state such as employment, contractual hiring for various posts by the government, fees charged to fill form for vacancies in the government jobs etc.

Rohit Pawar said that the youngsters from different parts of the state will take part in the foot march. The timing of the foot march has been selected in the last week of October with an intention to ensure that the issues highlighted through it are raised in the upcoming winter assembly session. This according to officials is simlar to the the yatra organised by Rahul Gandhi with an aim to connect people.
