Rotary Club of Pune Pashan Donates Life-Saving Cardiac Ambulance to KEM Hospital
Pune, 25 June 2026: Rotary Club of Pune Pashan under the Global Grant project of the Rotary Foundation donated an advanced Advanced Life Support (ALS) Cardiac Ambulance to KEM Hospital Pune. The project has received support from the Rotary Club of Raahe, Finland, which partnered as the global sponsor.
Several Rotary clubs participated in this initiative, including Rotary Club of Pune Westside, Pune Karvenagar, Pune Hadapsar, Panvel Industrial Town, Pune Magarpatta City, Pune Amanora, Purandar, and Pune Magarpatta Elite. The project also benefited from a significant contribution from Anjali and Pradeep Mule.

The ambulance was handed over in a special ceremony in presence of District Rotary Foundation Chairman (DRFC) Rotarian Pankaj Shah. Among those present were Dr. Xerxes Coyaji, Medical Director of KEM Hospital Pune; Shirin Wadia, Chief Executive Officer KEM Hospital Pune ; Rotarian Prajakta Jere, President of Rotary Club of Pune Pashan; Rotarian Deepa Panse, Honorary Secretary; Rotarian Hemant Jere, Global Grant Director; along with office-bearers and members from various Rotary clubs.
This state-of-the-art cardiac ambulance will provide critical, life-saving treatment to patients and other seriously ill individuals even before they reach the hospital, significantly strengthening emergency healthcare services and improving patient outcomes.
