Round-the-Clock Crowd Management Measures Implemented at Pune Railway Station

Pune, 17th February 2025: Under the guidance of DRM Pune Rajesh Kumar Verma, Pune Division, Central Railway, has deployed dedicated teams of officers and railway staff round the clock to manage passenger movement effectively during the ongoing high-demand period. These measures aim to ensure smooth operations, enhance passenger convenience, and maintain order at the station.

To facilitate hassle-free boarding, commercial staff and Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel have been stationed at key points to regulate passenger flow. The team, led by Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager Dr. Milind Hirwe along with other officers, Commercial Inspectors, Chief Ticket Inspectors (CTIs), and Station Ticket Collectors (TCs), is actively monitoring operations.

Key initiatives include:
– 24×7 crowd management teams deployed to assist passengers.
– Queue monitoring at ticketing and boarding areas for orderly movement.
– Efficient ticket checking to ensure seamless travel.
– Opening of additional ticket windows to expedite passenger clearance.
– Preventing overcrowding in reserved coaches for passenger comfort.

These enhanced crowd management efforts will continue until February 26, 2025, ensuring a safe and smooth travel experience for all passengers.

Passengers are requested to cooperate with railway staff, arrive early, and follow guidelines for a seamless journey.
