Royal Enfield community celebrates Women’s Day in Pune

Pune, 07 March 2021: Royal Enfield has a strong riding community that is inclusive and unified with love for Royal Enfield motorcycles. Women motorcyclists are an integral part of this community. Across all its marquee rides and events like Himalayan Odyssey to the Rider Mania, to newer formats of rides that test skill and endurance,  Royal Enfield sees a higher number of women participating each year. Both men and women across India and the world ride motorcycles and Royal Enfield sees itself as an ally in their pursuit of ‘pure motorcycling’. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Royal Enfield is celebrating the commitment and spirit of women riders by organizing women-led rides across several cities. As a part of this celebration, 48 women participated in the ride.

Royal Enfield riders in Pune took part in a special motorcycle ride that was flagged off today at 7.30 AM by Mrs. Pratibha Joshi, Senior Police Inspector, Pune Police Department. As a responsible brand, Royal Enfield encourages its community members to #LeaveEveryPlaceBetter after each ride and as a part of this initiative, women riders in Pune ensured that the ride was ‘plastic free’ and they also encouraged other riders to follow this call. During the ride, complete social distancing norms were followed and proper safety measures were ensured.
