RPF Personnel Save Life Of Two Passengers At Kalyan Station

Kalyan, January 8, 2021: Two lives were saved by on duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel at Kalyan station on Thursday.

According to the official of Central Railway, “Two passengers were trying to board on a running train. The passengers had a ticket of S12 of 01059 Godan Express. The Wife was trying to board from the front door and the husband was trying from the rear door. On duty Head Constable Sheshrao Patil noticed the two and quickly pushed inside the female passenger who was about to fall. At the same time, it was noticed at the next door that the husband who was carrying the luggage was also about to fall down but was pushed inside the train. Amidst all this, their son was left behind at the platform.”

The particulars of the passengers were collected and the husband was identified as Asfak Mohd Khan (61), resident of 202, Sabina manzil, Yakub Apartment, near India Hotel, Bhiwandi, Thane, was travelling from Kalyan to Shahganj.

“In this case, two lives were saved by Head Constable of the RPF who was assisted by Constable S P Yadav. Their son named, Abthab Asfhak Khan (25), thanked the RPF for the same,” said an official.
