Rs 2.9 crores sanctioned for Nigdi ITI

Pune – The district planning committee has santioned Rs 2.3 crores for development for buildings for the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Nigdi. An additional Rs 60 lakhs has been sanctioned for repair of the existing facilities.

The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by the Pune district guardian minister Girish Bapat at the circuit house.

The ITI located in Akurd-Nigdi, has been functional for the last 39 years. There are 700 students in 12 trades at the institute.
