Rs 200 Crore Scam In Pune? Housing Society Chairman, Secretary Cheat People And Government, FIR Registered

Warje, 15th March 2022: Pune city police has registered a case against the Chairman and Secretary of Ramnagar Housing Co-operative Society in Warje Malwadi for allegedly cheating the people by selling the property, worth Rs 200 crore, belonging to other members. An FIR has been registered in this regard at the Warje Police Station.

Labour contractor Deepak Ashok Vetal (40), a resident of Moshi, has lodged the complaint against the society chairman Ambadas Gate and Secretary Ganesh Bajrang Mane (42), a resident of Shirur.

According to police, there were 218 original members of Ram Nagar Co-operative Society. The land was allotted to them by the government. The accused took money from the members since 1990 to develop the property. They also acquired 1 hectare 76 gunthas of land from the government. A total of 396 flats were constructed and the accused sold them to other people without giving them to original members.

Officials said that false information was given to the government and court by the accused.

Assistant Police Inspector Amol Kale is further investigating the case.
